Information, tech support and guidance on technology resources is available below for all current Great Bay students.
Help Desk & Ticketing System Information
IT Helpdesk is a one-place technology resource for GBCC students, faculty and staff relating to all technical questions, support and guidance.
If you need assistance, contact the Help Desk by the following ways:
- Open a ticket by either going to https://helpdesk.ccsnh.edu or sending an email to [email protected]
- Call 603-427-7638. If no one answers the phone, please leave a voicemail which will automatically generate a ticket. (Make sure to include your Name, CCSNH Email, ID #, Brief request information.)
Technology Recommendations
Minimum Standards:
- 8GB RAM
- Intel Core i5 / AMD Ryzen 5 processor
- 250GB – 500GB solid-state hard drive
- Windows 10 Home / Windows 11 Home
Recommended Standards:
- 16GB RAM
- Intel Core i7 / AMD Ryzen 7 processor*
- 1TB solid-state hard drive
- Windows 10 Pro / Windows 11 Pro
*for curriculums with intense graphical work and CAD design
Web Browsers
Firefox / Chrome (both are free and available on all Operating Systems)
Although it is not required to bring a laptop to all classes, it is a recommendation. Please see your syllabus for specific course requirements.
Tablets & Chromebooks
Chromebooks (or MAC / PC tablets) are not recommended because they do not have adequate computing power or they have software compatibility issues.
